My blog https://awesomemoviework.blogspot.com now has over 7,000 posts. I am extremely happy and proud for that milestone.

The Transformers (1984-1987) TV Series 40th Anniversary

Today is the 40th anniversary of a very influential cartoon TV series in my life, The Transformers. I remember watching this show nearly everyday during 3 main seasons (there is a season 4, but it was only a few episodes, so many do not count that as an official season). I played with a lot of the toys during those years. I remember being given toys of that show and I played too rough with them, so my parents gave those to another family. My life in education and school during that decade up to 1992 was not always good, and watching that show helped me grow, mature, and be able to cope with the bad things going on with me at the schools I went to. My mom Susan and dad Tim also bought some VHS tapes of that show once those were available, and watching those also helped me learn to believe in myself and learn to use my disability to help others. I remember watching the VHS tapes into the 1990's, and I learned to grow and become the person I am today because of this show inspiring me to keep moving through life even with bad things still happening at school for me. I remember renting and watching the 1986 movie The Transformers: The Movie a lot until we bought a copy. That also always helped me feel good and happy watching that movie. I remember watching Transformers: Generation 2 in 1992 to 1994. Watching that re-airing of that show also helped and inspired me to believe in myself and develop a strong since of self-esteem and self image. Ever since watching that revamped version of that show during those 2 years, that helped and inspired me to feel good and happy with myself into my teenage years and understand that my disability is something to be happy for and used to help others to be happy and believe in themselves. That show also inspired me to speak out about disabilities and advocate that disabilities are something to be encouraged and praised, instead of looked down upon and shunned. I am extremely glad that show was aired during those early years of my life because I am the person I am today by watching that show. I have been a happy person everyday because of this show in my life. This show has also helped me encourage and inspire others in Southwind Fields. I am glad and grateful for this show in my life and it continues to make me want to be a good person everyday of my life. My old church friend Devin Adams Wigley also highly enjoyed watching this show. My adopted former foster girl, my lovely sister Amanda is also a big fan of this show. This Judas Priest song No Surrender is a great representation for how I feel about this show:
